Arabesques is a visual exploration of rhythm, repetition, and reinterpretation. Rooted in the rich traditions of Islamic art and geometry, the project reimagines historical motifs through a contemporary lens. Each pattern is constructed from a single, continuous line—uniform in weight yet infinite in possibility. Through variations in symmetry and color, the designs oscillate between the familiar and the unexpected, evoking both heritage and modernity.

The result is a modular system that adapts seamlessly across contexts—whether adorning a wall, a coaster, or a piece of fabric. Arabesques invites viewers to rediscover the ornamental not as static decoration, but as a living, evolving language of form.

Commissioned for a lawyer's office in Beirut, the project encompassed wallpaper design, coasters, and three wall-mounted pieces crafted from plexiglass, colorful spray paint, and wood (50 × 50 cm each). Together, these elements create a cohesive visual identity that bridges tradition and modernity, bringing structure and vibrancy to both public and private spaces.
